Graner	He will be discussing his book, From Sea to Service		Mar 24, 2026 12:15 PM			Mike will be talking about his book *From Sea to Service.* The book begins with the miraculous rescue of a young boy, Marc Nguyen, from the terrors of the Vietnam war. After a rough start in New Orleans, he eventually settled in Boston. He excelled in school athletics and was accepted into the US Coast Guard Academy. He retired as a Coast Guard Commander in 2007. From Sea to Service is a story of remarkable determination, resilience and contribution that is an inspiration for all who struggle with daunting challenges.	View

Guest speakers will be Kathy Verano, Marie Kenny and Ken Edwards of Safe Futures. A new center for Safe Futures is being built on Rt 85 in Waterford to care for the needs of the women in the area. These folks will be giving an update on the center’s progress.	View
